Summary

Adds the August 7 changelog entry covering customer-facing Kernel and Hypeman changes shipped since the July 31 entry.

Product updates

  • Kernel Terraform provider on the Terraform Registry (v0.1.0)
  • Hypeman v0.3.0 and Hypeman CLI v0.17.0, including persistent builders and CLI builder management
  • CUA CLI 0.9.0 alongside @onkernel/cua-agent and @onkernel/cua-ai 0.10.0
  • Managed auth login panel on the MCP server, exposed through open_auth_login
  • Proxy deletion protection for live managed auth connections
  • MCP server error transparency and the required tool-call context field
  • Per-browser OTLP export destination selection
  • CONNECT support for public destinations on non-standard ports
  • More reliable HTTP/2 browser egress fallback
  • Browser session search by profile name (GET /browsers?query= and the dashboard)
  • A visible dashboard search button for the existing command palette

Documentation updates

  • New Hypeman documentation site
  • New Kernel Terraform integration guide
  • URLAllowlist navigation-restriction example on the Chrome policies guide
  • Refreshed browser pools guides and standardized terminology

Verification

Each product item was checked against a shipped artifact rather than merge state alone: registry, GitHub release, npm publish, live production tool schemas, or successful production deployment. Documentation items were checked against merged pages, and the Hypeman documentation site was verified live.

The final scope excludes internal utilities and operational tooling. SDK-only release bookkeeping, unreleased product changes, and generated API reference refreshes without a distinct customer-facing change were also excluded.

  • git diff --check
  • final diff restricted to changelog.mdx

Validated through August 6 at 4:00pm ET.

Overview
Inserts a new August 7 <Update> at the top of changelog.mdx, following the same Product / Documentation split as prior entries.

Product bullets cover the Terraform provider launch, Hypeman v0.3.0 and CLI v0.17.0, CUA/CUA-agent/CUA-ai releases (including a breaking CuaAgentHarness note), MCP managed-auth login (open_auth_login, wait), proxy delete protection, MCP error handling and required tool context, per-browser OTLP destinations, CONNECT egress rules, HTTP/2 fallback reliability, session search by profile name, and a dashboard search button for Cmd/Ctrl+K.

Documentation bullets call out the Hypeman docs site, Terraform integration guide, Chrome URLAllowlist example, and refreshed browser pools terminology.
